Pan Global Srijanoday -2022 accomplished successfully
To commemorate the 159th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, an icon of Indian youth, St. Vivekanand Millennium School, HMT Township, Pinjore paid a rich tribute with raging patriotic fervor by organizing a virtual Result Declaration and Awards conferring Ceremony of ‘Srijanoday – Vivekanand Samiriti Samaroh’2022. The ceremony was inaugurated by lamp lightening and garlanding the bust of Swami Vivekananda.
The chief guest, Swami Anupamanand ji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Chandigarh, graced the occasion with his presence and urged everyone to imbibe teachings and philosophies of Swami Vivekananda in their life. He also delivered a fiery oration on the life of Swami Vivekananda and perpetual importance of his teachings.
Speaker of the day, Mr. Vivek Atray, ex IAS and a motivational speaker, advised everyone to be positive and motivated. He told to adapt a thankful attitude always rather than a complaining attitude. He added that greatness comes from cheerfulness and humility, which one should always posses.
Pandemic had given a new look to the event and made it a pan global as students from Australia, Nigeria, Kuwait and Dubai as well as of various schools of India, participated in it with joy, enthusiasm and great spiritual zeal. The objective of this event was to inculcate the character-building teachings of Swami Vivekananda and to develop the interest of students in physical, emotional, social, spiritual and intellectual virtues. To achieve this, all the activities were segregated into five groups titled as: Gyanoday, Aabhasoday, Bhavodaay, Kalaoday & Pranoday. An array of activities were organized under these categories such as Kavyanjali, Subhashitam, Swamiji’s bhajan, Alchemy: E-magazine, Thoughts of Swami Vivekananda, Discourses of Swami Vivekananda, Swami Vivekananda’s Address, Poet’s Digest, Talking Titans, I am a Scientist ,Rhythmic Symphony, The Chronicles, Ulta Pulta, Shapes Mania, My Country My Pride, Poster of Swami Vivekananda, Yogic-Kala & Circuit Training, etc. The students expressed their emotions vibrating with deep reverence and sincere commitment towards the ideals and preaching of Swami Vivekananda.
More than 2500 students gleefully participated, not with the spirit of conquest titles or prizes but to learn & feel the ideology of Swami Vivekananda which is the pressing need of the moment. St. Gregorios School, Dwarka, New Delhi and St. Anthony’s Secondary School, Faridabad, Haryana were awarded as Champion School with maximum A1 holders. Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula ,received an overall trophy with maximum participation in all the activities.
At the end, Mrs. Pallavi Bhardwaj, Vice-Principal presented vote of thanks and extended the heartfelt gratitude towards one and all who made it a successful event.
Mr. Piyush Punj, principal, also applauded the immense talent of the participants and congratulated all the winners. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the principals and teachers of the participants of Australia, Nigeria, Kuwait and Dubai. He also emphasized on an education that leads to character formation. He introduced Swamiji as a complete personality to follow. He exhorted the students to follow the ideals and principles expounded by Swami Vivekananda and contribute towards the betterment of Indian society.
All the participants received e-certificates. The ceremony was ended with the National Anthem.
