St. Vivekanand Millennium School, HMT Township Pinjore, celebrated International Women’s Day with great zeal. The male staff members of the school organized the whole function dedicated to all their women colleagues. The program commenced by highlighting the origin of the day and showcasing examples of outstanding women of Indian history. It included many inspirational facts which were also demonstrated with a poem and a video.
On this occasion, Director of the school, Mrs. Kamal Rai blessed the staff members with her august presence. While congratulating all the teachers, she said that immense powers are hidden in women. Let us all recognize these powers and use them for the benefit of the country. She expressed that with thriving persistence and hardwork, women have become the best versions of themselves.
Principal, Mr. Piyush Punj applauded everyone on International Women’s day and showing the greatness of womanhood, said that men and women have come into existence with one goal.
Whether it is a son, a husband, or a father, the guidance of stability in all situations comes from the woman Swami Vivekananda quoted that the country cannot be strong unless the women of India are empowered.
At the end, sweets were distributed among the staff members. It was a day to remember and appreciate the achievements of women in all the fields of life.
