SVMS Celebrated Holi with Tiny Tots & Their Parents

St. Vivekanand Millennium School celebrated the festival of colours ‘Holi’ amidst the reverberating tune of “ Holi hai bhai, holi hai………”, with fun and frolic. School Director Mrs. Kamal Rai graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The parents and students of Class 1st participated in the programme.

 

The celebrations commenced with Saraswati Puja. Principal, Mr Piyush Punj welcomed all the guests and parents with greetings of Happy Holi. Speaking on the importance of Holi, he expressed in detail, the religious, social and scientific aspects associated with this festival.

 

Various activities like poem and dances with enthralling music filled the children and parents with enthusiasm. The programme was concluded by most awaited “Puppet and Dandiya dance” in which the children and parents dipped into party mood and danced to the tunes. A special quiz related to Holi, was also organized for the parents wherein they answered the questions efficiently. They smeared colors and showered gulal and flowers on each other. Parents were thrilled to see the performances shown by their tiny tots. They expressed their gratitude towards the school authorities for nurturing their ward’s hidden talents.

 

School Director, Mrs. Kamal Rai congratulated the students, parents and staff on the occasion and said that Holi is a unique festival to share joy, love and positivity. These types of festivals enriched us with our valuable culture.

Vice Principal, Mrs. Pallavi Bhardwaj presented the vote of thanks to all the guests. The music, colors and the delight on the colorful faces of the tiny tots and their parents made the event truly remarkable.
