St Vivekanand Millennium school, strives for the holistic development of its students. SVMS rightfully acknowledge the pivotal and collaborative role the parents and school play in the child’s academic success which is directly related to parent’s involvement in child’s education and interaction with teachers.
The school management considers each and every child to be a unique asset. The parents are guided to ensure the wholesome and holistic development of each student. The values-laden curriculum caters to building up the student’s potential not only in the studies but also in various creative activities.
The school Encourages a spirit of partnership with parents and all parents feel themselves as important part of the school. The school involves the parents in the following ways:.
- Involving in school programmes and activities
- Parents as productive resources
- Providing them learning forums through induction programmes and workshops
- Keeping informed
- Allowing them to share their complaints/concerns
All parents are enrolled as members of PTA. The executive committee of PTA is constituted through an election as per the Government guidelines. The PTA executive committee meets from time to time, at least once a quarter to extend a helping hand to the school to achieve its aims and objective. Suggestions and observations of the members are considered seriously and implemented wherever feasible PTA values.
